Triangle Rhapsody
wood sticks, nylon socks
50 x 50 x 40 cm
This project aims to make connection between music and space. As a cellist, I noticed that my fingers always dance with the tones when I play the cello. Through my fingers and triangle analysis, I relinked the music I played to the space I imagined. It is about creating a harmony and disciplinary space. My idea ‘rhapsody’, which is also borrowed from a form of music with different and even radical changes of rhythms, is the comparison between chaos and order. Accordingly, the triangles are set in different directions and sizes but with the same rules: they are all limited and supported by the wooden frame.
