Postpartum Depression (PPD) Care Center

Postpartum depression (PPD) is a type of mood disorder associated with childbirth, which affects mostly the mother. The symptoms include extreme sadness, anxiety, to possible suicidal thoughts. As a woman and a daughter, I have been alarmed about the disorder by social media posts and stories told by my mom, which firstly inspired me to use my design skills to relieve the mental stresses to new moms. For the past months, I have been working on this PPD care center design in hope to let the mothers have a sense of peace at the first glance.
